Simulation Modeling of Impact of Order Communication System to Clinic Patient Waiting Time

Abstract
A compub.r based iconic visualization business process simulation model using SIMPLE++ software (AESOP gumbo, Stuttgart, Gei -nany) was built to show the impact of implementation of order communication system to clinic patient waiting time. This visual simulation has made it possible to show hospital managers how the computer program and policy changes can influenc,:. patient waiting time. The application of this simulation modeling showed the implementation of order communication system effectively reduced the outpatient waiting time. The model can be modified to visualize the effects of implementation of hospital information system in patient care service and hospital management in the future.
